Welcome and thank you for your interest in employment at Pineridge Golf Resort!

We are very excited to begin another fantastic year at Pineridge Golf Resort, and as we prepare, we are looking to build a phenomenal team.

If you love working with customers and providing excellent customer service, organized, punctual and have high standards, we'd love to hear from you!
Please note: Pineridge Golf Resort will require all staff to use the necessary PPE, including face masks, hand sanitizer and equipment disinfectants. Also, signage is posted throughout the building, and hand sanitizer has been provided at all entry points.

As we are getting ready to open for the 2021 golf season, we are currently hiring for the following positions.

RESTAURANT POSITIONS

 

9 Iron Grill & Patio SERVERS::

Duties include:

  • Provide excellent customer services
  • Greet customers and present menus 
  • Make suggestions based on their preferences.
  • Take and serve food/drinks orders.
  • Full knowledge of food and drink menus
  • Make drinks
  • Up-sell when appropriate
  • Arrange table settings
  • Keep tables clean and tidy at all times.
  • Deliver checks and collect payments 
  • Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
  • Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
  • Ensuring quality standards are met every time
** Requirements: Must be available up to and including the September long weekend as a minimum. Minimum 1 year of serving experience, 18 years of age & Pro-Serve Certificate with own transportation; Flexible schedule; availability on weekends, evenings and holidays are required. Stand for 3-5 hours/day. Part-time positions (20 hrs/week) Must be available to work up to and including the September long weekend as a minimum.

PRO-SHOP & GOLF COURSE POSITIONS


PGR GUEST SERVICES & RETAIL::

Duties include:

  • A seasonal position is available to close the golf season. Must be flexible and available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Answer telephone, book tee times
  • Greet and check-in golfers for their tee times
  • Collect all money for green fees, cart rentals, and pro shop sales.
  • Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop
  • Remain courteous with patrons at all time
  • May be asked to serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks to golfers.
  • Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments.
** Requirements: Flexible schedule; availability on weekends, evenings and holidays are required. General knowledge of the game of golf is an asset—a Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Stand for 6-8 hours/day.

PLAYERS ASSISTANT::

Duties include:

  • This is a volunteer position where the compensation is golf privileges. 
  • Maintaining the proper pace of play on the course.
  • Respond to golfers' questions, requests, concerns.
  • Direct golfers around the course if they are unfamiliar with the layout.
  • Inform golfers about course policies, and let a golfer know when he might violate a course policy.
  • Try to mediate any disputes that might arise between groups.
  • Checking the cleanliness of on course washrooms
** Requirements: Flexible schedule; availability on weekends, evenings and holidays are required. Excellent Knowledge of the game of golf is a must—a Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

BEVERAGE CART SERVER::

Duties include:

  • Replenishing the beverage cart with fresh products,
  • Full knowledge of food and drink menus
  • Make drinks
  • Up-sell when appropriate
  • Ensuring a high level of beverage cart revenue,
  • Maintaining the beverage cart is clean and organized.
  • Merchanding cart to specifications.
  • Daily Inventory
**Requirements: Must be available until the middle of September as a minimum, Minimum 1 year of serving experience, 18 years of age & Pro-Serve Certificate with own transportation; Flexible schedule; availability on weekends, evenings and holidays are required. General knowledge of the game of golf is an asset—a Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Stand for 6-8 hours/day.

BACK SHOP/CART ATTENDANTS::

Duties include:

  • Meet and greet all members and their guests in a warm, friendly and professional
  • Help keep all working areas attractive, neat and clean, free of trash and waste.
  • Please inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance.  Responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart condition and fueling. 
  • As well as the rotation of golf carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet.  
  • Assist golf shop personnel in the tournament setup of golf carts  
  • Refer all major problems/complaints to a manager 
  • Follow procedures in the management of the cart.  
  • Maintain order and continuity of player traffic.  
  • Assist with setup of weddings and other private functions held in the clubhouse
 
** Requirements: Ability to work early mornings (6:00 am), Available to work the required weekends and holidays, Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Complete tasks with particular attention to detail. A reliable source of transportation. Ability to work in inclement weather – rain, heat, etc. Physically capable of completing required tasks. 16 years of age Stand for 6-8 hours/day.
